We’ll hike around the eastern ridge to the open valley on the opposite side of Bjelašnica’s highest peak. Above the valley of Stirna lokva we’ll have a phenomenal view of Treskavica and Visočica Mountains and if it’s a clear blue-skied day one can see the mountains towering from the Montenegrin border.
It’s a beautiful hike away from the hustle and bustle of the ski slopes, and as always, Bjelašnica’s strange and unpredictable weather patterns govern all. All in all, we’ll hike a bit over 4 hours, a perfect day stretch in the fresh air. See you there!

What to bring: Hiking boots, gaiters, day pack, 1 liter of water, winter gear, hat, gloves, sunglasses, sunblock, a dry t-shirt/fleece, and a camera. Please contact us if you need any gear or equipment.
